Israel is being tight lipped about reports coming out of Syria that the IAF has struck a "research facility" in Syria. Israel is neither confirming or denying the reports by mainstream media that it's air force has hit a military convoy carrying missiles to the US declared terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon. The strike reportedly occurred along the Lebanon-Syria border. According to CNN the convoy was carrying SA-17 missiles. If the report is correct this would be a very sophisticated upgrade in the missile technology capabilities of Hezbollah.
In recent months Israel has been strengthening its border with Syria along the occupied Golan Heights as fighting intensifies in Syria to topple the faltering regime of Bashar al Assad. Unlike its other neighbors, Israel has made it clear it will not take in any refugees from the conflict.
