Tonight you prepare to fight a terrible adversary for the very control of your lives. You have been engaged in a great struggle for the past 17 months. Tens of thousands have died in their struggle to breathe free. There is no turning back, no compromise or surrender, to do so would mean sure death. For the people who have lost heir lives, you fight in their memory. For all of those in detention, you join the battle against a vastly superior army in numbers and weapons. This is a struggle between right and wrong, between good and evil. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Thousands of farmers, shopkeepers, school teachers, students, young men, old men, ex-soldiers are converging from communities far and wide to defeat this scourge. Many of you will either defeat him here, or you will die trying. This must be done, otherwise each of 20,000 deaths will have been in vain. This great and ancient city will become a battlefield and a terrible toll will be paid in blood. It is up to you as it has always been. The world abandoned you, long before ever getting involved.
You have showed your courage, your unwavering loyalty to each other. Remember, you are all Syrians. You must all come together now, every citizen of every faith, and every sect, religious and non religious, you must stand together and stop this enemy here and now. Be brave and have mercy where it is due, but free the people from their mental and physical slavery at all cost. Let this be the final spark of the final bonfire which will bring down the evil house of Assad.
